Cross-Border Delivery Policy (Singapore)

This document outlines the delivery fees, time frames, and core terms and conditions specifically applicable to cross-border delivery to Singapore via truck.


Cross-Border Delivery Fees (Singapore)

All fees quoted below include on-site assembly service and the mandatory MYR 350 document fee.

Note on Premium Delivery:
Premium delivery is available upon request for purchases exceeding MYR 5,000 and below MYR 25,000.01.


General Delivery Terms & Conditions

Scope of Delivery Fee
Fees cover only one (1) specific location in Singapore. Multiple locations require payment for multiple trips.

Assembly Service
On-site assembly is included and performed on the same day as delivery.

Cross-Border Surcharge
A Singapore Goods and Cross-Border Surcharge of 9% applies to the total product purchased amount.

Delivery Timeframe (Normal)
Delivery date is subject to the truck’s schedule. Customers are informed at least 8-10 working days prior to the actual delivery date.

Rescheduling
If a customer does not accept the first delivery schedule, they must wait for the next truck, which may exceed the standard time frame.

Non-Delivery Days
Normal Delivery: Excludes Sundays and Public Holidays (Malaysia & Singapore).
Premium Delivery: Excludes Sundays and Public Holidays (Malaysia).

Delivery Access
Delivery is only to ground level, first level, or levels with working lift access.

High-Rise Delivery
Deliveries to higher levels without lift access must be informed in advance and may incur extra service charges.

Installation Limits
Team cannot undertake installation requiring permanent fixing (e.g., wall drilling) or electrical works (e.g., pendant lights).

Peak Season
During peak season, the standard delivery time frame might extend to 3–6 weeks.

Pre-Order Shipment
Orders including pre-order items will be shipped in a single shipment once all items are ready. Partial delivery of ready-stock items incurs additional delivery charges.

Self-Collection
Customers must set the country and address as Malaysia for self-collection eligibility.


Change & Cancellation Policy

Within 30 days from the purchased date AND before delivery schedule is confirmed.
Subject to an administration fee of 3% with an additional RM 10 for Telegraphic Transfer charges. Changes must be of the same or higher value than the original item.

Order Lock-In
Once the team has contacted you (10-14 days before EDT) to confirm the delivery schedule.
Orders are non-changeable, non-cancellable, and non-refundable.

Post-Delivery
After the order has been delivered to you.

Defect and Exchange Policy (Singapore Specific)

Warranty & Guarantee
Product Warranty is NOT applicable for products delivered or used outside Malaysia. The 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee is NOT applicable for Singapore orders.

Inspection
Customers are strongly advised to check items delivered before the driver leaves the house.

Defective Item Handling
If an item is rejected due to a defect, the defective item may be left at the customer’s location until the next scheduled truck for replacement or repair.

Replacement/Repair Schedule
The replacement or repair date is subject to SHALIMA decision and the next available truck schedule to Singapore.

Return Shipping Cost
SHALIMA will NOT charge for the return of an item if it is faulty or due to SHALIMA fault.


Additional Transporter Service Charges

These charges are for unforeseen circumstances during delivery and must be paid directly to the 3rd party transporter (SHALIMA is engaging the 3rd party transporter service).

Applicable up to 5 levels. Delivery to levels above 5 requires mutual agreement.

Extra Service Fee (Condo/Apartment)
RM 100 / drop
Applicable when the truck cannot move in, requiring extra work to bring in goods (Not applicable for HDB flats).

Long Walking Distance
RM 100 / 30m
Applied for every 10m beyond the initial 30m walking distance (Unloading area to lift/house).

Extra Waiting Time
SGD 50 or RM 175 / hour
Charged after the maximum allocated delivery drop time of 2 hours.
